About Me

Becoming a new parent can be one of the most amazing but overwhelming experiences of your life.  I am here to support you and to help you navigate these new waters.  Offering a non-judgemental ear, a safe space for you to express your ever-changing emotions and a capable extra pair of hands to help you around the home.

I am based in Malmesbury, Wiltshire and happy to travel locally.

I have trained with Side=by-Side Doulas and am currently a Mentored Doula with Doula UK.

About

Breastfeeding Support

Currently training at Anna LeGrange's Mindful Breastfeeding School, I can help with practical breastfeeding support, soon to be supplemented with Mindfulness.

Nutrition

Microbiome and gut health is so important, especially during the postpartum period.  I can prepare healthy meals and snacks for you and ensure that you keep eating and stay hydrated!

Extra pair of hands

With a newborn to look after and a lack of quality sleep, housework and chores usually become the lowest on the priority list.  I can help with light housework, chores and childcare.  I can even run you a nice warm bubble bath to soak in whilst I hold baby nearby.

Signposting

There are times when new parents need a little bit of extra help, either for themselves or for their newborn.  I can help signpost you to the right expert if you need it further support.  Everyone I refer you to I have personally met and know.

Postpartum Planning

I love to help create a postpartum plan for when baby arrives.  We can decide where in your home you would like your base to be, how the chores and divided between everyone and how you see your postpartum Doula fitting in.

Visitor Management

It's always lovely to see visitors and share the joy of your new baby with family and friends but it can also be overwhelming.  Sometimes you just need them to leave, other times you will suddenly want your baby back in the safety of your arms.  I can help to manage this with you.

Safe Space

With a flood of postpartum hormones in your body combined with a lack of sleep, new parents can feel a little wobbly at times.  I am here to listen to you with a non-judgemental ear so you can cry, rant or celebrate in a safe space.

Birth Debrief

I love birth stories!  Whether yours was the best experience of your life or a little trickier, I am here to listen to all the details without interruption.  For a lot of women, just re-living the birth can be a hugely cathartic experience.
